I'm trying to fit my slackset now, its a -1 degree version. Its clear which way round the top cup goes but not the bottom cup - there are 2 cut-outs opposite each other, and on one side what could be either an A or an arrow... However looking at it, there appears to be no difference once way or the other?

I'm guessing that all the bottom cup does is allow the steerer to pivot and its the top cup that actually dictates the angle - is that right?

Thanks!!!

Fit the top cup so that the race is set rearwards and the bottom cup so that it's forwards.

Its not necessarily as clear as that. On mine the top bearing hole is in the middle. However the whole cup is angled when layed flat. So it was higher at the front than the back. I expect haven't explained this very well.
