Lovely here. My Giant is down with a bottom bracket issue.

My road R1 is waiting for me to complete fitting the new fairing.

The Bionicon is up for sale.

The other R1 is a track bike

The last R1 i may take out for a lunchtime blast yeah 🙂

Don't worry it'll soon pass.

I think an alien nation are slowly terraforming earth to make it more suitable for their aquatic life!

A quick blast around the lanes of the Ribble Valley tonight for me and my road buddy and a mountain biker from my club who has just bought his first road bike and fancies some proper exercise.... should be around 16-17 miles and 850 ft of climb in a one hour ride.

Weather forecast is telling me that its going to be dry all day...and I choose to believe, Goddamnit!

'course, there will be loads of standing water and I'll get soaked anyhow 😀

Almost! Started to drizzle by the time I got to 5-ways and by lower cliff climb I popped my jacket on, but could have carried on without tbh.

Lovely ride in the end, the trails have stood up really well considering all the rain, surprisingly little mud or standing water and despite two minor crashes (its about 12 months since I've had an off) managed to knock 6 mins of my previous best. Though nothing to boast about...ahem 😛

But best of all, the rollers opened again yesterday! The guys have done a nice job of resurfacing, armouring and generally enhancing the features that were already there; that rolling-'drop' and the little ski-jump. I preferred the rollers when they were smooth, but understand why they've done what they have. Its a nice section (as it always was)...lots of fun to ride and a great end to Tackeroo. Let's hope it stands up well to the traffic.

Back there tomorrow morning.
