So on a motorhome trip to Italy next year i've secured myself two days riding at Bike Republic Solden on the way. Staying at Camping Solden.
Any good tips? What are the "must do" bits both on and off the bike?
Do the chairlifts take ebikes or should i take my regular bike (a bit less travel though)?
I've stayed at Camping Sölden and it was nice.
There wasn't much going on in the town unless you are there during the scooter rally, bikes go inside the cable car do no issue with ebikes.
There will be large groups going slowly on the blue trails, the view from the very top is stunning, I was millimetres from hitting 2 bulls that were laid down on the Leiterburg trail, so be careful on the natural trails.
Area 47 is 30 mins away and worth an afternoon. Serfaus Fiss Ladis is an hour away and a much more fun bike park.
Off to Soelden next week, though hopefully won't see any trace of the bike park.
I agree Serfaus has good bike facilities
