Arrived at work to see my Supersix waiting for me.

8.2kg stock, should go well under 8kg once I've re-built it. Pics to follow!

It's a racer in my book. Road bike could be anything for road use, drop bars and it's a racer.

What if you dont race it? I've never raced my road bikes, but I've raced my mtb?

Anyway, back to the thread, when are you fitting the triple?

You'll love it...I've had one since 2011 & it's wonderful. Super duper fast, but comfortable enough for silly long rides. Enjoy!

Triple goes on it shortly, am considering some carbon drops from a colleague and will need to decide on that before building. I also have a new fat bike to build which will present more challenges (and home-made parts potential!!!) 😎

Fork is 440gm (350gm listed), frame about 1050gm (950gm), 58cm

Tubing on the frame is reassuringly non-huge, should be comfy.

Well here's the pic. I saved maybe 500gm on the wheels but as the bike in only 100gm lighter I lost 400gm on the rest of the build. Sram is light!

A triple?! On that frame?!

MY EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (How's the tea Joat? Chocolate Hob Nob I hope?).

C'mon Al. Get a compact on there at the very least. That's worse than bar ends on a riser bar, or spokey dokeys on a set of deep section carbon wheels.

And no better than a compact double setup with a wide range cassette in terms of gear inches.

Still, at least it distracts the eye from what appears to be a small suitcase under the saddle.

Lovely bike otherwise. Nice colour. Never heard a bad word said about one.

Apart from the above obviously, but you can't lay that one on Cannondale - not sure that they spec a triple or luggage in their Supersix catalogue.

I reckon you can save at least 400g by chopping the steerer to an appropriate length and cutting the tags off.
