My children's continued destruction of our house continues and they have manged to pull the kitchen cupboard door off. The screws that hold the hinge base plate have pulled out of the pre formed holes in the carcass.
I have tried araldite in the holes and re drilling but the screws just pulled out.
Any solutions gratefully appreciated (other than new kitchen or bike) thanks

Kitchen door hinge repair kit.
Get an 8mm dowel. Drill out the original hole to 8mm. Glue the dowel into the hole with pva and cut flush. Drill new pilot holes and refit hinge.
Easy! 😁
I've seen a few videos on the internet that show how to repair these problems. I haven't had to do it myself though.
Get a decent diameter length of dowel eg 12mm and a matching bit.
Drill the stripped holes , glue the dowels in place and cut flush. Once cured, you should have a nice strong blank canvas to rehang your doors.
Edit, beaten to it!
A bit niche, but I have a selection of various width bamboo lengths from the garden, which often act as an emergency predrilled plug.
There are various levels of DIY competence - a mate of mine can't even work a sink plunger. If drilling and gluing dowels sounds like a headache, I've had decent success in the past by jamming LOADS of either cocktail sticks or matches into the knackered hole and then just screwing back in.

I'm going to say do it with a 9.5mm dowel in the interests of balance. 😉
I use Blum hinges in the cabinets I make. The standard hinge plate has 2 screws into the carcass at right angles to the hinge - cruciform. They also make an in-line plate which misses the old holes. IKEA hinges are Blum pattern.
As a last resort I drill a new hinge hole in the door and re-mount the hinge 90mm away.

Hammer them in (literally!) and use a liberal amount of wood glue to create a solid matrix.
I've done it with matches before as well. Obvs the dowel thing better but matches work.
I did this recently with cocktail sticks - thinned them down a bit with a stanley knife as the screws holding them in were square ended & hard to get a thread started on.
I lightly glued them and pushed them into place around the edge of the hole, so I had 5 or 6 in the hole, evenly spaced. I pre-cut them to length before sticking them in.
I was quite surprised what a strong fastening it made, as the chipboard of the carcass was really chewed up in the hole & looked pretty wrecked.
25mm dowel is what you need.
about 50 metres should be enough for a child cage metal for longevity
And clean everything well before starting. Araldite should really have worked I would have thought but the dowel route it the one that I would go down. PVA glue will hold it well but give it 24 hours to dry or it won't hold well enough
thanks Team - it appears I am not alone in thie act of vandalism. For reference I will be going down the metal plate route. My DIY skills do not extent to dowel plug or matchsticks
