I am Mrs Steel freak
That is the same as my saddle.
The only thing that I dislike about it is that the surface is a little slippy and that you can slide off when wearing lycra. I have had difficulty finding the right saddle/riding position/clothing issue (female comfort on long rides).
I went to leisure lakes where the very nice chaps there had me sit on a board to find out where my seat bones would be on a saddle, and then they quizzed my about my riding style, and I have found a saddle that is not torture after about 5 miles. I find that the recess in the saddle is useful for when you are dressed in casual gear, and it works miricles then. Who cares about design when it is comfort that really counts.
I suspect you could probably get away with a bloke's saddle of the appropriate width. The Spesh gent's MTB ones tend not to have holes, just grooves.
I have a men's Sonoma on my singlespeed town bike and it's fine. But the road bike and mtb both have Spesh BG Jetts - love 'em. Saddles are so difficult, you don't really know what they're gonna be like til you've ridden then about 10 miles. Can you borrow one off anyone to try?
Well, to throw a spanner in the works... my missus rides 12 and 24 hour solo races competitively, and swears by her Bontrager RL WSD.
She's tried loads of saddles, and has settled on the Bonty.
Obviously saddles are all to do with your bottom shape, but I'd seriously consider giving one a go as they have a 30 day comfort guarentee; i.e. if you dont like it within 30 days you get your money back.
My partner uses a Bontrager saddle too, no slot just a small recess in the middle.
If it's comfy, who cares what it looks like, you can't see it when you're riding...
ok any links for the above saddles 😉
This doesn't help as it is a slit in the middle but these are whta I ride, love it:

Alternatively I borrowed a friend's road bike all summer which had a Fizik Vitesse tri saddle, which has no hole and it was lovely, although not cheap.
Bonti saddle for you:

SWMBO has a Charge ladle and swears by it. Used to have them all the time on Wiggle, but they don't seem to stock them anymore ;-(
The Specialized BG Jett has a hole in so probably not what you were after

Seriously get this:

30 day money back guarentee - absolutley nothing to lose, just make sure if you don't get on with it after 2 weeks or so that you do send it back.
Give it time for you to adjust to it a bit too, most saddles I've found comfy thake a little adjustment to get right.
again - I have no affiliation with Bontrager, they just make a nice ladies saddle - 24 hours sat on it, and no sore bits - thats pretty good.
For reference, she found the Charge Ladle rubbed her tender bits, as it doesnt have a love channel, the Specialised Jett was too hard for her, the Fizik just doesn't fit her at all - too rounded.
Selle Italia Ldy for me on the XC bike, very comfy.
A cannondale one I found in a bargain bin, it's a Raven. hasn't got a cut out but a scoop (does that make sense) comfy.
hmmm, found a Bonti saddle here
now i need to know wot size ...i guess i may need a small which is 260mm x 134 mm wots this in inches then...please.. 😉
current size of my saddle is approx 9 and a half inch lenght x 5 and a half width (widest part)
You need to measure your sit bones for an accurate reading.... like this:
There are two boney protrusions in you backside, one to the left and one to the right. They are called your Ischial Tuberosities, but most people call them your "sit bones". They support nearly all of your weight when you are sitting. They are located to the left and right of your anus. They are usually farther apart on a female than on a male to accomodate the birth canal. You should be able to feel them if you sit on a hard surface and rock slightly to the right and the left. You will feel the increased pressure on them as you rock in that direction.
The easiest way to measure them is with a tailor's tape measure. Bend over and place the tape on one of the areas where you felt the pressure and pull the tape taunt to the other area that you felt the pressure. Place your finger over the spot on the tape to mark it where it passes over the area where you felt the increased pressure. Then just read the tape where you have it marked with your finger.
If you have a chunk of memory foam like what some of the newer bed matresses are made of, sit on it and before it springs back, measure between the two deepest indentations. Or if you have some thick corrugated cardboard, you can substitute it for the memory foam, but it does not work as well.
ok Dr Rickon.... 😉
Or ask your partner if you have a big, small or medium bum and go for relevant size. Although I would be careful asking a man that question 😉
