I've tried on a few pairs of short-finger women's gloves in shops and was really surprised to find that I could only fit my hands into the large size. I didn't think my hands were that big!

Is the sizing for women's mtb gloves standard across all brands? Is there a measurement chart somewhere that I can take guidance from? I've googled but to no avail - only found men's sizing charts.

You're probably thinking, "What's the problem? just buy the large." But the trouble is I didn't like the design of the ones I tried on and have found a much larger choice online. Ho hum, the danger of online shopping I suppose.

Any help gratefully received 🙂

Joolz.

I have, in the past, seen glove sellers suggest sending a drawing of the hand (run a pencil round it)so they can get the size right. I suppose a scan could be used nowadays?

My daughter struggles to get gloves (small hands and long fingers). I normally take her to a motocross shop to look at youths gloves. Much better choice of gloves and colours

Don't worry joolz, my hands aren't particularly big for a man, but I find that I need either L or XL gloves to fit.

If it's any consolation, I have to wear men's medium sized full finger gloves! But I will confess to having fairly large paws. 😳

Women's cycle clothing has totally random sizing.

Excellent referencing, that's great, thank you. I will take a look at those links. 🙂
