While I am going to change the cable on my dropper, I've looked at other levers to replace the rattly stock Race Face one.
Wolf Tooth have a Hope version for the type 1 Tech 3 levers but for the life of me cant see how it fits, or what to.
There's no tech doc on the Wolf Tooth website, but of course a simple email to them would probably get one. Or just go the standard light action lever on a bracket..
Hooe Tech 3 levers have a hole underneath to accommodate Shimano I-spec shifters, it connects to that.

I've been using a wolftooth remote with tech 3 levers for a while. I don't know of the design has changed but mine didn't work without some mods. The remote came with a 4 mm bolt and an aluminium square nut that fits behind the lever clamp. This required a bit of filing to make it fit well and have a solid connection for the dropper lever. Later I stripped that in a crash and replaced it with a hope square nut. These take 5 mm bolts and so I had to drill out the the hole on the dropper lever to allow a 5 mm rotor bolt to fit. Great dropper lever once it's attached though.
Mine was simple to fit. You don't need all the bits the ispec version comes with.
I couldn't find the Hope version in stock anywhere so went with the standard clamp. I'm sure someone will now say they've got a Hope one for sale..
If it bugs you long term you can always replace the clamp part at a later date.
Has anyone attached a reverb remote or other sram style fitment remote using Hope's clamp for their duo lever on a tech3 lever, looks a lot neater than their other option and comes in colour options.
Not sure anyone will agree with you that the duo option looks neater than the bolt on one.
