Does Woburn have any smaller jump and tabletop lines? All the videos feature massive gnar doubles.
Whats the singletrack and ground like there? Enough for a couple of hours?
Are the routes marked?
Does the Sandy Lane car park get full at the weekends? If so when is best to get there by?
Does anyone have a postcode for the car park ( Sandy Lane )
Many thanks
oh and do you need a permit or day ticket to ride there?

There are a few smaller jumps in the jump park, or at least the was last time I looked. Not really my bag though.
The trails are great and one lap takes just under an hour going steady, 45 mins if you press on.
There's loads of other trails around there too.
My regular day off rides have been around 2 and a half hours.
If you ever want someone to ride with or show you around gimme a shout.
I'd say there's something for everyone up there.
The ground has been in fairly good order recently, it drains pretty well. Puddles can form in the lowest areas sometimes. Usual slippery roots in places. Car park not usually super busy you could park on the road on the approach or in Woburn Sands and ride up. Only 5 mins from the village
Yep there are some smaller lines around.
There's a 10k waymarked route from sandy lane and more fun on the church side, but you'll need someone to point you in the right direction for that. Soil is mostly sandy, bit of mud, and puddes here & there, was riding pretty well on Thursday
Parking should be fine
I've never been asked for a permit
Bloody slippery on the church side yesterday! Will be good when the leaves have blown away!
thanks all
Road there today, Sandy lane does get busy later in the morning. I tend to get there early and parking isn't a problem.
Better riding as mentioned above is the Church Road side, but thats not signed so guide would be needed.
Longslade is the red route from Sandy Lane (starting at Roots) and was riding reasonably well today. Some muddy sections but grip felt fine, I'm still on my summer tyres as well. Will be up there again tomorrow morning as its only a 20 min drive for me.
jump trails were grippy today
some lines without large jumps (except at the end)
thanks
