I'm trying to establish whos about at night during the week, after tonights ride has been scuppered by me having to go back to work shortly.
Looking for anyone to tag along with really. My midweek night ride is purely social, and my ridings pretty well plain old xc so I won't be out to impress just ride.

Depending on wether I race saturday or Sunday the non race day is usually a long steady one if anyone is interested.
Cheers

Hi OG - we have been riding the woods for the last few weeks and are determined to get one night ride a week in but not on a regular night due to some of the guys varying work commitments. Normally it's a Tuesday or Wednesday. Not doing the woods this week but will probably next. (We were the group of 3 standing by double-step when you shot past on Sunday.) If you ping your mobile # to my email address I could text you when we next go.

There is also cyclone (altho they are a bit stop/go for me)

how about we sort an STW regular woburn ride?

Cyclones a bit big isn't it, we had that problem with the BuzzardsMTB.

We did have a site called 'Woburn Crankers' which was basically a web/forum meeting place. People used to hook up from all over, the States, NZ, SA, and from all over Europe but sadly the caretakers of that site moved on.

We go every (ok nearly every) Thursday at 18:00 prob a max of 4 riders in the winter.
Finish at about eight and then go to a little Italian Fish restaurant we know.

Single Speeds mostly - a lot of them have at least one big wheel.

Just about to ask who was about Thursday night. Singlespeeds and 69ers!, just sold my singlespeed and the 96er went a year ago. Tempted to hook up but I know how hard it is to keep up with singlespeeds round there.

Hi other oldgit

Shame that Woburn is a bit too far. One of my mates and I have just developed a craving for off-road night fun at Swinley.

That new trail was 'interesting' tonight, do you think it will hold up because it's a nice trail. My million year old Racing Ralphs struggled tonight on that bit.
Anyway didn't see a soul, were you out Blurboy or shouty matt?
