Looking at setting up an ardent 29 2.4 with wired bead tubless on the rear. Is it doable and if so, how stable/well sealed will it be. Think they are fairly narrow rims, about 20mm internal. Or should i just stick to a tube. I'm not looking for weight reduction, more puncture protection.
Thoughts???
Regards neil

Wired bead tubeless works fine for me on Maxxis tyres, but I suspect it will be very much dependent on what rims you have.
I've used wired single ply on Stans Crest and Flow (as a front tyre)
I've used wired dual ply on Flow and Flow EX (as both front and rear)
