This happened today. I'd been over to Gisburn in the morning and didn't feel / notice anything during the ride or when I was washing the bike at home after but tonight after spraying some Fork Juice on the stanchions and compressing the fork the left wiper seal came loose.
The fork has been backwards and forwards to Rock Shox ever since I bought it for various reasons but the last warranty job seemed to fix all the problems I'd been having.
Any ideas on a fix for this?
That's pretty common and caused by an internal leak that lets pressure into the wrong part of the fork. Most likely needs a new seal somewhere inside rather than the wiper seal itself.
Thanks Nick, I had a feeling that it would be something I couldn't fix myself.
Back to Rock Shock for the fourth time. 🙁
