Ok, i know its prob been asked beofre in the past but....

What is good all round winter rubber? Just in case any new stuff has changed general opinions..

Not sure what size you're after but I'm on these, and so far they've been great all round winter tyres. Pretty damn good in mud but far better everywhere else than mud tyres. Even rolling swiftly enough on tarmac on the way to the trails, I'll be leaving them on all year as I'm done with chopping and changing tyres - and a good price too...

After recommendations on here I rode a Maxxis Beaver yesterday, in anything from loam to slop.

It was ace - much faster than a mud X, just as if not more grippy on roots.
