Hi all!

I'm organising an event - http://www.84kmbivvychallenge.co.uk/ where you cycle or walk a distance over 48 hours and bivvy out for 2 nights. For the cycling events the distances are 156 miles or 260 miles depending which one you choose.

You pick your own route, in any location and choose any date up until March 2010 to do it.

It's open to any types of bikes, downhill, singlespeed, fixed, road, anything and everything basically.

If you want to take part and raise money for charity, please do so and get in touch so we can blog about what you are going to do.

If you fancy taking part let me know. Here's the site for more info: http://www.84kmbivvychallenge.co.uk/

i like that idea, a lot.

must tap up a few mates to see about their enthusiasm - could be epic but having a mate along would increase the banter-factor and make the photos easier!

Yeah, that looks like an amazing challenge - all I need now is a bivvy bag and some fellow nutters to do it with.

As for a bivvy bag, i can definitely recommend the Alpkit Hunka - any luck with finding some nutters?!

Anyone up for doing the ultimate distance? I'll be doing the normal one but I know that distance is too easy for some!

With any luck we may get to give away a prize so the more epic and exciting the adventure the more chance you have of winning!

Now, do i do it on my singlespeed or flat bar hybrid/cross bike?
