Looking for a pair winter boots for the lad, something a bit race snake-ish, Lake, Defrosters etc. in a 9.5 10 uk.
I don't want to spend the earth as he is still growing so they might only for one winter. Anybody spotted any good deals out there in the internets?
Probikekit have £15 off £100 baskets of clothing, including Northwave shoes and boots.
https://m.probikekit.co.uk/sports-footwear/northwave-raptor-thinsulate-mtb-winter-shoes-black/11537868.html size 44 is ~£95 with that offer.
My feet are small enough to have got a set of £99 45nrth from Charlie bikmonger. But I think those feet is too big.
Some size 11s and a couple of pairs of woolly socks?
Owt else out here?
It might be overshoes at this rate
Ghyllside cycles had some massively reduced winter boots when we visited today. Very light / not bulky and a grippy rubber sole:-

Think they had some other models.
Wheelbase had black Friday week reductions on Northwave in the shop but not on the website - maybe worth a call.
Edit.
Bugger - that was the 3 bolt version - 2 bolt spd is dearer.

The sizing on 45nrth was way out when I bought a pair of fasterkatts. I'm a 44 with some room and I couldn't even get my feet in.
Triton doing old man winters for 130 quid.
Not racey but warm and cheap.
Wife has wolvhammers.. they are. Alittle rediculous.
about a month ago i bought the ultimate winter boot.
45nrth wolvehammers.
and for the uk, you will never need anything else if you suffer from cold feet.
i bought them as a trial to see if they work with my dead foot
umfortunatley, they dont. sold em yesterday.
but dont waste your time and cash on looking for or buying anything else.
45nrth wolvehammers............ buy some.
