Are these guys still shady or are they alright to use?

A few years ago they were terrible... but theyre cheaper by a few good quid.

I've used them a bit when they are cheaper than Wiggle/CRC/Merlin

No problems at all with around 10 orders

Seem fine whenever I've used them, website seemed to fall over a lot though which was infuriating.

I've used them a few times without knowing they had a bad rep. They gave me no reason to suspect either.

Toying with trying some sidi megas from them.

Only used them once and had good service: ordered late one evening, email stating dispatched the next morning, arrived day after...I'd use them again.

(This was in Feb)

ring them to make sure it's in stock, then order it over the phone if they still let you do that

I've had about 3 sets of factory wheels from them (Hope/Crests) 26" & 29" - cheaper than elsewhere. No problems & good service!

Been good for me, although ordered from them recently and the order needed a couple of phone calls to get it shipped.

My wife knows the owner, he's a very tough and astute businessman. I've never met him but I'm sure she trusts him.

I've used them quite a few times. Personally can't fault them and they do have some excellent bargains too

Some confusion over a charge spoon saddle but refunded after a few more mistaken attempts, just bought some rigid forks from them and fast delivery.
