In a bid to make me more visible to fellow road users, I am after some gloves for commuting.
Ideally they would be windproof and/or waterproof, but the main thing is being reflective, so others can see me signalling to turn etc.
Whats the go to? Don't mind spending a few quid, but more in the £30-£40 range rather than the £80 plus range?!

Might it be easier to add some reflective wrist bands rather than trying to find so many features in one glove? Waterproof is hard enough to find!
Loads on wiggle, Altura night vision stuff is always really reflective, Endura and gore stuff is gonna be decent enough. No gloves are ever waterproof, but I generally work on the principle that windproof keeps your hands warmer, warm and wet is better than cold and dry/damp/wet...

I should've been more specific, i am after people's actual experiences and recommendations. Rather than just a search on a bike shop (as i can do that 🙂 )
On all matters reflective the answer is Proviz. Have gloves, gilet and shoe covers for winter night rides on road.
Not sleek, sexy or breathable, but that's not why I bought them.
fair enough. that carnac one is what my son uses on his school commute. definitely seems to work for him, he prefers them to gloves, and reassures us that there's a little bit more chance of him being seen by drivers and the like. so not personal experience but he hasn't mentioned any issues, like the classic problem of inners getting messed up or pulled out unintentionally.
I've got some Aldi 'Crane' equivalents which are very warm and do have the reflective/windproof features but you do have to be very careful taking them off to avoid the inner fingers getting pulled out.
I used to swear by my Altura Night Vision gloves (the older style with the removable liners). So good I used them for winter hillwalking as well.
Can't vouch for the new ones but might be worth a shot, at the prices I've seen you could seriously consider buying two pairs so you can carry a spare pair on the truly wretched wet days.
Otherwise the Galibier Barrier is the best I've used but not specifically for visibility, although I see they have improved visibility for this year
@MoreCashThanDash - how do the gloves size up compared to other brands? I usually squeeze into a medium in Fox, 100% and Melon. Would a medium be a safe bet in Proviz?
I've got a pair of the Altura Night Vision ones mentioned above with outer shell and removable liner, they served me well through a couple of years of regular commuting.
Given that I'm now predominantly WFH, I don't need them any more so if a medium is any use to you then might be a cheap way to try before committing to a new pair.
They're also even less subtle than this not-very-stealth ad 😉
