Press release came out about an hour ago.. I guess this is all part of the Fox move to have their own distribution and service centres? They do seem to be burning a few bridges at the moment.

In the UK they're using Silverfish, I'd guess that's where Marzocchi will go too

Here's the press release:

PRESS RELEASE: After 22 years as Marzocchi distributor for the UK and Ireland, Solent (UK) Ltd t/a Windwave has ended their distribution agreement as of today.
Peter Nisbet, Managing Director of Solent (UK) Ltd, said " The decision to end the distribution agreement after so long was not easy, but I feel now is the time to make some changes. I have enjoyed working with Marzocchi and made some great friends over the years. I am very proud of how my company and staff grew Marzocchi to become a market leading suspension brand in the UK. In 1997 we introduced the Bomber Z1 to the UK, the fork which revolutionised bicycle suspension as we know it today. I would also like to thank our customers and riders for their fantastic support.
Any outstanding warranty issues will be passed seamlessly to a new distributor to be announced shortly.

Reads more like Windwave are binning Marzocchi than the other way

Marzocchi seems to being lined up as a sister brand to Fox, maybe for lower price points to go against the Yari, Sektor etc.

Would make sense for them to have all the spares and servicing under one roof.

Maybe it it windwave pulling out, bit is that due to Fox being hard going??

It'd have been a kick in the teeth for Chris Porter if they hadn't done this.

The brand seems to have been callously neglected in recent years. Hopefully Fox will be smart enough to recognise that modern versions of the RC3 ti series forks are just what the world needs right now.

Agreed, windwave have been really helpful to me in the past

... precedent* might suggest that bargins may come up soon
*(I bought a mojo fox. Can't decide if I should feel guilty about it or that I managed to help them liquidate some assets just in time)

Porter's subsequent interview suggested that he quite enjoyed flooding the market with cost-price Fox product. I don't feel guilty for snagging an X2.

That's a shame - they've always been helpful and were pretty good at coming up with parts for old Marzocchi's that I was trying to keep in service.
