There is no setting you cannot reach
Selva R represents the “state-of-the-art” of custom tuning for MTB forks. Every single parameter of the Selva R can be modified according to your own specific needs. There is no setting you cannot reach. Your riding style is already built into the fork, it’s up to you to unlock it.
If these take off I can see them needing their own forum and support group!!
I had a 5th Element shock once on a santa cruz, it had billions of knobs n stuff. It was ace, well ace when it worked which was about 70% of the time...
So- how is this different to the tuning of my 2012 Air Revelations?

Not sure, did the press release not give you something to go on?
all this means is more forks will be set up more badly than ever before 😀
Yeah kind of my thoughts having spent a while showing someone the high ans low speed compression controls he asked what compression was.....
But like the cane Creek you will have an entire load more excuses at the end of a run as to why you were slower, 1psi out in the negative for that root etc.
Spring side is just old RS Dualair, but the neopos and damper carts are pretty snazzy looking. To be fully ridiculous it needs 3 air chambers like Öhlins.
Wow, definitely some knob twiddling on the cards. It has:
CTS technology, with Gold and Red CTS valves.
2Air technology with Silver and Bronze chambers.
Neopos.
Internal Floating Technology.
Hexagon Design.
Ultraviolet 30.
All for only $1,667
At a guess 95% if riders won’t need it or even understand it, including me.
I don’t know whether it’s ego or marketing bobbins but you’d think that fork manufacturers would include various starting points depending on your riding style and ability, and use plain English instructions.
’If you ride at a slower pace start with compression at x and rebound at y.
‘For rough downhill terrain start with etc’
Alternatively, people could spend an hour or so learning how suspension works.
Too much effort?
Do all dual air forks not work that way? You use the amount of air in the second chamber to adjust the initial reaction of the forks? At least that's how I always thought it worked.
Looks like they might have redefined what redefined means.
Looks like they might have redefined what redefined means.
I think it's the amount, I know the original RS ones when they worked were very sensitive to changes and had to have one greater than the other most of the time
This will make me sound like such a luddite..
My favourite forks ever were some very old Marzocchi Z4's. Dumb simple, only 'adjustments' were oil weight for damping and air pressure to get the right sag. There was a joy in that simplicity. They worked very well, and still do.
OK by modern standards the performance is very low end, but effective.
