I think it [i]should[/i] work, just wondering if there's going to be any annoying chainline or whatever issues.
Basically, I'm looking to tourify my CX frame. Have done the Dales Cycle route on it with a mild bodge of 30/40/50 triple, 11-32 cassete and a standard road mech, which gave me just enough low end gearing, but I'd like a bit more, plus the mech couldn't really handle the cassette...
so long as its not a shadow rear mech it should be fine. set up something similar a couple of days ago and it worked perfectly well.

Could not get one of these to work on a 9sp setup. Crisp shifting but chain rub was a problem
