Just seen that Mondraker have pulled out , last week it was Trek Rock Shox leaving Valli Holl looking for a new ride . A shake up at Santa Cruz , are we seeing a domino effect as the industry are wondering if the substantial investment isn't paying dividends in increased sales ?

Thought Mondraker were doing their own thing having split as frame sponsor from the MS team?

Yeah there will as it's not all cut and dried. Mondraker haven't pulled out, they're just no longer with their main sponsor, MS. Same with announcement for Rockshox Trek, but I think Holl will leave anyway.
Some of these are fairly ambiguous with who's leaving etc.

All of that said, I do think DH is changing and what we saw as a sport people could get into if different potentially to what it was. Whether that's better or worse, I wait and see.

Pretty good discussion on Dean Lucas latest podcast, with the main man from Maydena.

It'll go ahead but for me it'll be like going back to the way I used to follow WCs back in the pre-freecaster days.  I used to read the write ups of the events in Dirt and then watch the Earthed videos at the end of the year to see the action.

Anyone got the phone numbers for Steve Jones and Alex Rankin?

Silly season always starts with who's leaving which team, before the new signing announcements, but I think DH is over-due a shake up to be honest anyway.

@brucewee I'm sure Tea and Biscuits will rise to the written side of the challenge. Alex is still active on Insta, IMO there is still a gap in the market for a Sprung/Earthed type series.

Looking forward to new signings news in the New Year, but Danny Hart not amongst them as yet - announced he’s off Cube with nothing currently lined up.

Our team will no longer be with Intense Cycles in 2024,

That potentially just means different bikes but still a team.

Norton is still posting about Intense at the moment, so maybe he'll be on a non factory team on intense and they'll move to new frames.

That's the thing at the moment with most of these posts on pinkbike that you don't know until they're allowed to announce their new teams just how many will still get bikes etc.

I know some are announcing in the coming days.

There definitely will be. As others have said we are in the silly season where all the departures are announced but not the arrivals. Having said that I think there will be fewer places on pro teams this season v last given the squeeze on marketing budgets.
