You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I fell off a piece of single track about a year ago onto ground about 1metre below the track. Wrist hurt for a few weeks, thought I'd maybe cracked it, but it got better - didn't bother the NHS with it. No real problems until following the puffer...didn't struggle with it during (my new saddle was giving me the most PAIN) but its been getting worse since. Theres a deep ache now, especially AM, so some inflammation going on, although its not red/hot/swollen to touch. Nothing obvious in neutral, but when I flex the lunate becomes much more prominent, compared to other side, with a depression clearly evident distally - this is new since puffer. Its exaggerated when loaded with for example with a nice glass of red and the lunate is tender to pressure. Bottom line - some carpal instability. So def time to visit the docs, who will no doubt just refer me on, but any experiences of carpal instability, treatments, conservative or otherwise....and will I miss the summer - my new hummer frame is on its way as I type... 😕
