I currently have 120mm Recon Golds on my Genesis Core 2012 with A2C of 499mm, will I die/the bike die if I put 140mm Pikes on it? A2C of 517mm and I'm aware the Head Angle will change by about a degree. I'm not looking for it as a permanent swap, I'm perfectly happy with the way the bike rides as it is, just curious to see what it would be like. Obviously don't want to die though.. If it would be too much for the frame I might pick up a S/H 456 though.
Frame will take it - up to you. Just try it!if it feels And rides fine then great 🙂 I run 140 travel on my 120 camber with extra .5" travel on rear .... It's awesone. Don't listen to anyone - try it
