You need a shorter stem, and an angle set reduction oh and more spacers.

Could you not have painted it Brown?

Perhaps a rear brake could help you out a bit there? 😆

needed bled so I flung it away (well stored it in my bucket of bits), same with from derailleur, ceased up, see ye later! 😆 It actually makes the bike feel much nicer losing the weight of bigger tyres, rear brake, front derailleur, big ring, shitfers and rear brake lever. you don't really need a back brake for the road anyhow. might actually stick a smaller front disc on it.

tis a good commuting bike! 🙂

tbh I'm only really getting back into the bike after a year of so off, hence the state of that. due for a new bike next year anyhow, every 5 years I plan to buy a new bike, so this will do as a winter commuter/weekend run about for the next 6 months to get me back up to speed, distance wise. Started off with an easy 25 miles last weekend, will go for 35 this weekend.

Think I'd want a rear brake regardless as a backup, what do you do if the front disk gets splashed with diesel or something. And what do you do in an emergency stop, choose between dont brake at all, or go over the bars? 😯

I'm dead good at endo's so the emergency stop is no bother! 😆 plus arse over the back of the saddle and you'll never go over the bars.

the oil problem, probably just jump off and pick somewhere soft to land! 😆

Doesn't look like a lot of mud clearance on those mudguards.

It looks like, what my imagination thinks, are the kind of bikes that get sent to 3rd world countries by the charities that collect second hand bike bits. Thats one prespective, the other is that it will be the new trend in Bristol next summer... thats when skin tight jeans are out and baggies are back in. But, i'll add to support both of those comments 'I am all in!'. If you start a kickstarter and give it a brand name im there...

I have the nose of my saddle pointing down very slightly, but how do you not find yourself sliding down and right off that one?
