You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Ok so after long threatening getting back into mtb its finally happening this Saturday. A work colleage has asked me to tag along with him and his mates at the weekend and I have agreed. So he is a very competitive roadie. He tells me his mates are of varying ability and fitness levels. I haven't been out mountain biking properly for a couple of years. (Since twins boys arrived in the house)
So my cycling for the last while has been a 8mile each way commute with a very rare two hours here and there off road spin. How do I survive this without ending up a wheesing mess at the side of the trail? Do I try and keep up and end up blowing up? Or go at my own pace and hope they arent waiting too long. Or maybe just go and enjoy it! (I cant wait!! :D)
You will be fine, if your mate is a proper roadie he will be about 9 stone and if he gives you any snash then lamp him. 😆
