Hi all,

I'm 6ft 0.5", standard body size I think (not massively long or short arms and legs).

I'm used to riding a small hardtail (Giant STP) for XC, but doing Relentless and want something a little larger I can stretch out on.

A cheap small XTC has popped up, I know a medium would be more suitable, but will I be just as cramped on this as I am now? Apparently a small is 17", which doesn't seem that small really?

Thanks, Duane.

I'm the same height as you, and found Giants used to have shorter top tubes in my usual Large frame size

I'd measure it up if possible against what you should need

6'5" even a medium will be too small.

Ive had small XTRs and NRS and a Trance, all too small. At 5'8" Medium Giants fit just right.

This is a medium set up for me (old bike and piccy though) can't see these coping with someone over six foot.

I'm 6'2" and use to ride a 20" XTC, if that helps...

And I just read your height properly, that was half an inch, not five inches... 🙄

my 12 year old daughter has a small that fits her perfectly. She's tall, maybe 5 foot 7.

Had a small a few years ago and at 5'9" it felt small and very cramped. Now ride 18"/ mediums.

For what it's worth, this is what I'm riding at the moment (blue t-shirt), saddle is at climbing height.

assuming a quad and its for 1 race - fit a long stem and some bar ends and be done.

Pair. Also ground off the front mech cable tops so can't (easily) run a front mech which I'd like to do.
