The small silver release lever on my Northwave boot SLW2 system broke off last night. Unclear on the Northwave site which replacement bit I need, definitely more than just the outer knob but the full replacement kit doesn’t show the silver release lever as part of the kit.
However I have a complete spare Boa system, is it a simple direct replacement as they look pretty similar?

Grateful for advice.

Bump.

Since discovered:
- unlike Boa, Northwave don’t have a customer service department
- if, as has happened with my £150 NW shows, the small silver release lever snaps off you’re stuffed. The silver lever is connected to part of the SLW2 system sewn in to the shoe and is not replaceable.
- the Boa does not fit the SLW2 system 😩
Pity as Boa were v quick to offer a free replacement kit.

So buyer beware of NW shoes with the SLW2 system.

On my NW CG enduro shoes, this bit is metal. Has it been changed to plastic?

The silver lever was metal on mine but just knocked out when foot caught.
