I am buying a nuke proof mega, just wondering whether a 222mm steerer would fit, anyone know?

I'd hope so, uncut box fresh steerers aren't much longer surely?

Yes. All size Megas have a 124mm HT leaving 98mm for stem and headset...that's plenty given most stems are 40mm
