Looking to reuse an old hub which is currently built 26" style on a bike I no longer use. Need new ends but want to understand if the cassette will fit without taking them both off and trying them on.
Thanks.
I ran a gx eagle on pro 2 evo xd driver for 142 x 12
Oh shit yeah my frame is boost. Do those adapters work well?
yeah you just need an xd freehub for it. The earlier non-evo needs a new axle too.
Or run a sunrace 11-50 shimano fitting cassette os what I would do.
Wzzz+1.
I've got a never used pro2 Evo XD driver if you want it.(but not the axle kit) Just done a spares clear out for the bay and was going to put it up tomorrow. You're welcome to first dibs if you decide to go that way.
Oh if the frame is boost you will also need a boost adapter from ebay, they space the disc and either side of the axle.
However if you are starting from building a new wheel......then get the hope boost adapter.
I would just get a new hub and ebay the old then you get all the advantages of a wider boost hub shell and stronger wheel.
I've got the opposite problem.
My hope pro 4 has an xd driver and I need a shimano freehub. Any idea if a pro 4 xd driver fits a pro 2 evo? If it does, would you swop?
Thanks
Damascus, Sorry chap pro 4 and pro 2 freehubs are not interchangeable
