I know they fit on a none boost pike but how about the rear? Can I get a maxis 2.6 to fit?
Doubt it. Although it might depend on the rims.
Was running 2.4WT Maxxis a while back. Have gone back to 2.3 because I couldn't tell the difference in performance, but I certainly could when it came to the price....
Mibbe.
I could just about fit a 2.8 on my spectral, but any tyre wobble/hard cornering and it would rub. Plenty room between seat stays, but the dropped driveside chainstay sits quite a bit inboard.
Ended up with a 2.5 WTB breakout in tough fast in there instead, which was a beast of a tyre.
What you need is a size from the tyre you want, there's loads of info on the old B+ thread, then compare it to the size you have now.
