Want to get into a regular light workout/ stretching routine, any body use Wii fit or is it just a game for fat mums and kids.
The yoga seems fairly good. The rest is a bit pish IMO.
You can work up a light sweat - but it' not really a workout.
Better off with a fitness video/yoga book or devise your own circuits.
I use the body monitor, and maybe a touch of the yoga, but as said above its not really much of a workout. Just dance and Just Dance 2 is actually more energetic. 😀
Good fun skateboarding when intoxicated 😯 and a little less painful than doing it for real!
+1 for JustDance for getting a sweat on.
I'm invincible at Cottoneye Joe.
Just dance is tiring, jut dance 2 is a killer! I used to use wii fit but it's not great. Yoga ok, balance games are a bit of fun more than fitness, muscle workout is also hard work and is ok for toning. Can't remember fourth section. If you don't have a balance board I would get JD 1&2 and save some money.

Shame it's not on wifi... Sounds like a challenge... Followed by a little less conversation!!
I have a Fitness thing with a red rubber stretchy band that's quite good
yeah right.
It's bad enough my family laughing at me, there's no way I'm broadcasting it to the world.
The yoga seems quite good. I'm mainly just using it as a way to track my weight at the minute.
I also use the Wii Fit for yoga and for tracking weight. Don't tend to use much of the other bits any more as I've got a treadmill and turbo trainer for aerobic stuff.
It's a set of scales that take the piss out of you if you put on a couple of pounds offers generic health advice and obsesses over your balance. the stretches and yoga are useful as instruction but after two and a bit years of owning it we mainly use it to keep track of our weight or make guests look stupid doing hula hoops.... Go on, get one.
If you're after Wii fitness stuff, you're probably best getting EA Sports Active or The Biggest Loser, as they're more focussed fitness programmes whereas Wii Fit is more of a fitness-themed mini-game collection (although arguably more fun because of that).
If you've not got the console yet, you could consider a 360 with a Kinect, lots of fitness games out for that (and you can't cheat at them, heh heh).
My Physio asked if we had one. She seems to think it'll aid my rehab and strength building no end.
Some of the resistance workouts are killers
press up ( do them relly slowly then holding it for ~5 seconds top + bottom)
then at the top, cross your right leg over your left
lift right arm off the bord and make a cross shape on your side, keeping cour back/hips/legs in line
hold for 5 seconds (this is a killer as the move itself is done slowly)
return to the start, pressup, repeat onto your left arm.
Thats 1 rep
It makes you do 6
And thats 'easy'
My core hurt for days afterwards!
We started doing the full wii fit experience but now I just use it for weight tracking.
