Not the website as such but since they have updated the website all i seem to get on my Facebook feed is Wiggle podcasts with some blonde posh **** in them who is really annoying me, to the point im close to unfollowing Wiggle on FB!
Its like they decided to take a two prong attack of annoying their customers!
Never follow any retailers on FB.
From a quick look at theirs now though, the message I get is that Wiggle isn't for people like me.
If they've made a pivot it may well be intentional, and they're fine with losing certain demographics of customer.

I looked at wiggle again a few hours ago and thought no, can't be bothered going past the homepage, it just repels me, and that new logo is like something off a cereal box. They're dead to me now, never understood why they stay seperate from CRC when they're the same company.

Yeah ive seen those threads, my thread is about Wiggle on Facebook, since the update im getting more podcasts showing with some blonde posh **** in them, will more than likely unsubcribe from the FB page and have been using Merlins and a couple of other sites more lately so Wiggle are loosing more of my business
I’m starting to wonder if they are now starting the proper split between CRC and Wiggle? Feels like they’re taking Wiggle away in some direction that’ll interest few here, maybe leaving CRC as somewhere more appealing
I couldn't log in after the update as it wouldn't take my password. I was only going to look at their new digs so gave up.
Now I want some pedals. Reset my password, now it wants a one time passcode sent to my preferred device. I'm not sure I've ever set a preferred device. You'd normally expect to see an option to use a different method to authenticate, but no.
I'll give up again and go elsewhere 🙁
FWIW I haven't see any of their ads on Facebook.

On that subject - I set up 2FA but then when I was away from home it wouldn’t accept any of the authentication codes generated on my phone. As you say, they refer to a backup code but there is no way to generate one. Luckily I was still logged in on my desktop back home so I was able to un-enable 2FA and it mysteriously accepted the code to do so.
I have the option to set up 2FA but haven't done so. It doesn't seem to assume I have, or ask for anything other than email address and password
OTOH the Loyalty discount doesn't seem to "stick" to items in my Basket. I see the discount price when browsing each item but it's back to RRP by the time it's in my basket and is like that even when I press Order. So far I've not actually ordered anything though .
Whenever I go to the CRC/Wiggle pages now I feel like I'm supposed to be making a fresh new lifestyle choice rather than buying some bike parts.
From a quick look at theirs now though, the message I get is that Wiggle isn’t for people like me.
It's a online retailer, not a lifestyle choice. If they have the item I want at a competitive price and the site lets me buy it, I'm quite happy to use them. I don't have to go for a ride with Wiggle. Or a beer. Or sit around talking about the class system with Wiggle. I guess they're trying to widen their customer base in the non-bike area, but frankly, so what? It's a bit like being hung-up on branded underwear that other people rarely see.
If Wiggle were doing something morally dubious or their site didn't work for me, or stuff I bought didn't reach me in good time, that would be an issue, but to the rest of it, I say meh, so what. Why would you follow them on FB anyway? And for that matter, has anyone ever used a 'share this purchase' button to let your mates know you're bought, say, a pair of replacement brake pads or a new tyre.
CRC delivery is impressively quick currently (#massive box joke).

Just had a lightning fast dispatch from winstanleys. Would have bought from crc\wiggle but couldn't find what I needed. I guess most online bike retailers have excess warehouse and dispatch capacity at the moment.

Of course. I'll still buy from them if I can find what I want, the price is ok, and service remains good. They're taking an opinionated positioning of their brand, and it's not aimed me whereas CRC is. Not saying that they're excluding me or that I have a football fan type relationship with them. mashr put it well:

And as I said, I don't follow them or any retailers on FB - I looked at it after reading the OP.
I thought this would be the usual stw faux outrage thread but you are right. Their FB and website is truly terrible.
Do they even sell MTB now?
I've not noticed until now as I've been making a conscious effort not to keep buying parts I don't really need.

Same for me. I just ordered some swimming goggles. It showed the 12% loyalty discount price on the order page, but that had been replaced by the (presumably non-loyalty) 10% discount once in my basket. I carried on and order because the difference was only 50p or something, and I couldn't be arsed to make a fuss.
Bit dumb though.
Can't login to either Wiggle or CRC now. Even with password resets.
@gray - I reported the loyalty discount thing via their online chat today. It's been passed on to the site delvelopers and I await a reply.
I tried CRC yesterday but just got annoyed by the filtering. I ended up doing the rounds of winstanley, merlin, halfords, leisurelakes and Biketart, but ended up buying from Tredz (who I swore I'd never use again after they messed me around on two separate orders for in stock items that turned out to be out of stock at a remote warehouse for two weeks and then wouldn't even budge on refunding my next day delivery!). So I'm not counting on seeing my new pedals for at least 2 weeks...
@gray (and anyone else interested) having raised the fact that the Loyalty Discount wasn't being applied to items in the basket, it now appears to have been resolved.
That's good, thanks.
As promised in the other thread the in stock filter is now operational
Notifications for back in stock items, is also missing
My experience in recent times is that
- Wiggle rarely has what I want in stock unless you're looking for a midget sized garment or obsolete sized component
- CRC us selling all the old shiiite that Wiggle still has laying around in even worse size and colourway options.
I am still happily using Wiggle but then I don't get over dramatic about a website look and feel change. There are FAR worse cycling shop websites out there but that also doesn't bother me as I am more interested in the item they are selling and at what price.
Thank you for your reply.
I am very sorry for any disappointment caused and that the EXTRA20 discount looked to be applied but nothing taken off.
As mentioned unfortunately the items were not within the range for this promotion which is why no amount was taken off. I have also raised this to assure that a promotion is not added if the items are not within the range.
Be aware, a successful addition of a voucher doesn't mean you actually get the discount. I'm not going to use them anymore.
Search function is properly crap. Seems to filter out everything!
Given the systems are now merging closer together - is it the exact same system now? It seems annoying that my Wiggle login doesn't work on CRC...I've stopped using both (since they changed to EVRI, so this doesn't really impact me, but it seems a bit of a missed opportunity to have the user account working across both sites as it might encourage more sales if you don't need multiple accounts and multiple times to add delivery details (all admittedly, not a massive time issue really).
I really don't undersatdn what they've done here - the two sites have exactly the same "feel", which I suppose shows they are trying to streamline - but man, the CRC site experience now is awful whereas the old sites was one of the very best out there - definitely a massive step backwards!
I have however noticed that the CRC app is really good, and has more offers on it than the website - so maybe that's the direction of travel?
Had to order stuff this morning off Wiggle/CRC first time using the new site. Comically bad - trying to find 2 different sizes of inner tube was a challenge. Gave up after that and bought the rest off bike discount de who have a functional website.

If you've bought them before it's simplest to click the link from the previous order email.

I've placed two orders with Wiggle using their new site. Yes, it's shite. But each time I've had the option to select DPD for delivery which I've done - next day as a Wiggle+ subscriber. TBF I didn't ever have an issue with EVRI in the past.
It is a mystery why Wiggle and CRC haven't merged on to one platform. I assume they're picking from the same stocklist and stock system by now. But perhaps not. Maybe they aren't properly merged yet and have a bi weekly review to see if there are any SKUs with 50 in stock on one and out of stock on the other. Or maybe they are using the Wiggle side to trial promos (I recently bought a couple of pairs of the Nukeproof Outland shorts - the promo code was Wiggle only). Don't know, to be honest, but it seems daft. The Wiggle site loads up pretty much impossibly small on my phone. The update to the CRC site recently has been a bit shit too.
Anyone managed to sort their wiggle plus? I'm trying to order something but should get next day delivery for free but not allowing as an option
Yeah, mine’s working fine. Several next day deliveries recently without hiccup. Still don’t like the new site though.
Mine’s back up and running now, wasn’t working as recently as last week though. If you have a word on live chat they’ll arrange to refund your next day delivery.
Working fine here too. Noticed it doesn’t seem to default to the fastest method, but the 24hr DPD option is always there

I used to have wiggle+ and platinum so I'd find the item on CRC and then order from Wiggle.
The main issue with the Wiggle site was usually finding anything but the second issue was stuff incorrectly described sadly the best case being impossible items so at least you knew.

I think most couriers boil down to YOUR driver and YOUR local centre.
All of them seem to go to complete shit as soon as something goes slightly wrong and breaks their process.
I placed an order last week and it been stuck at order placed since then, multiple livechats and emails later all promising to push the order through and still no change to processing, shipped or delivered, chased again last night and told they'll cancel the order as cant push through!
(#massive box joke)
I'd a pair of mudguards delivered. They came in a fridge sized box.
It looks like they have the "in stock" filter working again which helps searching for stuff. I also notice wiggle plus is up to £15 from £10, probably still good value for next day deliveries over a year.
