I wont be popular... so is the cup generally available to buy LBS or elsewhere, Old bearing is clearly siezed in this cup If i can get acup loctited back in what adapter to avoid PF again?

Do you mean that the cup is usually bonded into the fibre? I don't think you do buy just checking.

What makes you think you've killed the frame mate?

Poss a bit dramatic but cup and bearing have knocked out together tried heat to separate no joy so a new cup will be needed if bonded back in hope to find adapter to allow ebb type fitting with HT 2 cranks will that work to avoid martial strife?

A mate has a Trek Top Fuel and it doesn’t have metal inserts bonded in. I’m not sure if they’re bb30 or pf30 or something else. Sounds like you just need to buy a whole new bb for your frame and press it in.

The alloy cup thing should be bonded into frame.Trek bb95 kit has bearings spacers and top hat shims. So atm old bearing is seized in cup but both now out of frame now will need a new cup to bond in then either of bearings again or an adapter set. Can’t find a parts list showing cup

Carbon frames are easier to repair than steel and far easier than aluminium and ti. So if you have damaged it don't write it off. One of my LBS churns out carbon repairs Inc bb sleeves on a daily basis.

Certainly opened my eyes to what can be done!

And to fix the creaking have a look at Wheels Manufacturing or Hope PF bb's as they both do 2-part ones which screw together. Worked a treat for me.

Or replace the wife for a non-creaker

Bearing really seized into cup? Can't see how moisture gets to into a press fit...

Trek press-fit BBs are proprietary - uses an ‘undersize’ 37mm dia press-in bearing in comparison to regular BB95 with a housing which is 41mm dia.

Don’t know if the cup is meant to be bonded or removable press fit, but something like this will take the bearing out of the cup in and is far better than knocking bearings out.

I replaced a pressfit bb on my old fs bike, i used a hope one where the 2 halves screwed together.
The difference in friction between the 400 miles old shimano one and the new hope one was noticeable in the stand, although not when riding.
There wasn’t anything wrong with the old one, i just wanted the hope one.
I’d buy the same again.
