You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Three weeks ago, dicking around in the snow I slid out and bashed my lower leg off a rock or my cranks.
Almost immediately there was some pretty impressive swelling but that went quite quickly leaving no bruise but a sort of 'dead' feeling to the muscle.
Following this I started getting a lot of pain in the top of my foot (same leg) which had me limping for a few days (felt like a broken bone in the top of my foot or something).
Since then my foot has got better, but the deadness in my calf is still there, coming and going occasionally, especially when in bed for some reason.
Since I can't afford a physio and am not even sure this warrants one, can anyone shed some light on this? 😕
see your gp, you might be able to get physio on the nhs.
D'oh! I always forget I've already paid for physio on the NHS... 🙄
even if you dont have any luck there it might be worth paying, my Mrs just spent 6 months off work with what started as a niggle in her calf. Brilliant treatment from fasics at edinburgh uni and she's on the road to recovery.
