I've just taken delivery of a dynamo hub and I'm going through the process of choosing a suitable rim. It'll be used on both my 29er (so think anything up to 2.25" tyres) but also my tourer (down to as small as 28mm). Is this likely to be just too broad a range of widths or should I be looking to up my tourer tyres to 32mm or so?

Suggestions for a suitable rim would be most welcome!

This table http://www.schwalbetires.com/tech_info/tire_dimensions#rim

(4th and 5th sections down the page-read both sections)

I've run 2.3" tyres on Open Pros, no problem, but I was never looking at running super low pressures as it was a hardtail.

I'm not a fan of these tables.

Don't you have some 29er rims/wheels to try 28mm tyres on?

Al - I also think the tables are mince!
I have some Arch Ex rims already so might, as you say, give it a go. I'm just guessing that the tyre would be a weird profile and might ride/handle a bit strange 🙂
