My new DMR Bolt has very widely spaced chainstays - you could probably fit a 3" tyre in there!
Anyway, all 3 sets of cranks I've tried have been a bit close for comfort with the gap between the crank end and the chainstay. Some RaceFace Atlas ones actually touched, a set of Shimano LX Hollowtech ones barely cleared, and the old XTR M960s that I've been riding with have about 5-6mm of clearance at the ends. I do worry that they'll catch or rub.

So, sticking with a standard 73mm BB, what cranks are nice and widely spaced at the pedal ends?
I suppose I could fit an older Square taper crankset - middleburn maybe - with a wider axled BB.
