any advice/recommendations for something 35mm - 42mm?

It's going on the front so needs to be nice and knobbly with a good air chamber, but not necessarily a specific mud/competition tyre per se. Folding bead, not tubeless (it's not for me...).

Rocket Rons are 35mm and £15 on ebay. Any others?

I've got some new Smiling Sams that are similar to the RR's..

Never going to use them but apparently they're a good tyre, try those.

Continetal crossride-42mm,or CycloXking 35mm-both light and folding but not that hard wearing ime.
Not folding but the Schwalbe landcruiser comes in a range of widths up to 40mm,bulletproof but heavy
