Before I go down the “wanna buy one” road too far, has anyone 6’3” had a ride on the Wessex? They’re recommending a 58cm frame (their biggest) for riders 6’2” to 6’5”, which seems a bit small (if conventional sizing is appropriate).

Cheers!

I have the Friston (their gravel bike) and it sizes up bigger than you'd expect. Different frames so I don't know for certain that their sizing is consistent, but you might even want to try the 56 as well as the 58 if you can.

They do size up big for sure, I'd be surprised if the 58 Is too small and I agree with keiron, the 56 might even work. Try first.

Interesting read, I've just picked up a ridiculously cheap Whyte Gisburn in a 54 - not ridden it yet but was thinking if it'd be a bit on the small side, I'm 6ft generally go XL for my mtb frames - sounds like it might be ok after all!
