I am thinking of getting one of these.
Are there there any other bikes I should be considering in that price range (£2k) which match the spec, value for money?
Does anyone know of any special offers on this bike (I cant find any anywhere)
Should I wait until black Friday?

I have one. I like it though the dropper on mine has been a bit problematic.
Edit - looks like a T140 27.5 or a T160 29. I got the T140 29.

These are awesome. The deore version that looks equivalent to the Whyte is even cheaper.
I've got the T160RS so when looking for a new bike for my son the T140 was high on the list and ended up buying him one.
Really nice bike. Handled the Alps, BPW etc well. He happily spent all day riding it around the trails.
Personal preference, changed it to a mullet and SLX cassette (the Sunrace one was really clunky) Also changed the crank to 165mm.

The Saracen gets good reviews too.
At the moment in my opinion the sale Saracens are the best value for money bikes out there - I have an Ariel 30 Elite, full XT & nice Fox shocks at both ends for a billy bargain £2500.
It's like how bikes used to be priced back in the day.
