How old is it?
I believe this is a known problem on some 2013 bikes. slight change on 2014 . I think there's a thread on it.
Not me, but a mate had the same issue. New frame from Whyte
Remind me not to buy a 2nd hand one of these then. Been looking......
My 2013 frame did the same. L/h seatstay broke just in front of the disc mount. Known problem and happens because of the way the weld was finished. Atb were brilliant and I had a new stay on the bike within 3 days. 6 months on the new stay and no problems.

It's one of the things that put me off buying one. I tend to run big disks and was worried about that section of frame after hearing about the issues.
I had the left stay break and now about 6 months later the drive side stay has just gone. Still under warranty so see how they respond
