This one :

I have been planning on a 2020 Genesis Fugio 30 for some light off road and playing on, and I already have a 2015 CDF 30 and a Vagabond. The CDF is setup for winter road and road touring.

The Whyte has very similar spec to the Fugio, but runs on 700x42 so could likely replace both the CDF and the Vagabond..It also costs a lot less than the Genesis..

Anyone own or ridden the 2020 Whyte ?

Hi, sorry I've just seen your lonesome post. I got a fristonn V2 in February to do do the Badger Divide on at the end of may......oh well best laid plans and all that.
I'm coming to it off a 2012 croix de fer which I absolutely loved and rode in many inappropriate places, much to the amazement of trail centre bikers!
I have to say I added a dropper potato turn it into a cheap Gisburn - the frame is exactly the same, but not lime green! It is hands down the most fun riding bike and an absolute hoot to ride. I'm a fan of steel frames but the Whyte is far more comfortable than the croix and the difference is more noticable the more mental your riding gets. The 500mm bars give you total control and I'm never bothering with cable disc brakes again. Two finger stoppies on the hoods-yay. The tyres are the best gravel tyres ive tried with serious cornering grip in all but deep mud,run em tubeless.im a 9 stone weeklong and run 22 psi front and 24 rear with no pinch flats yet on local singletrack. It still handles as well with bar bag and a frame bag on board. Did I mention it was such fun?

I should add the dropper potato is useful even with only 50mm drop😂

Between your frisbees and potatoes I’m not sure how to reply 😜

I chose to go for a Genesis Fugio 30 instead, which I’ve ridden twice so far and loving it. Enjoy 😉
