Just been to LBS to have a look at the Whyte range, does anyone ride a 629, 29er?
Chap I ride with has one. Its great, rides just like a 26 but lots of extra roll. The frame is awesome but the components are not great, he would upgrade the forks if he could afford it. But if you are on a budget then a good quality frame makes sense. You can always upgrade the components later
I've got one and think its great.
Excellent on mixed surfaces, feels fast, stable and is great fun - not sure what its like on techy stuff yet, but flew up Rooley Moor Road the other night (rough, cobbly uphill track if you don't know it ...)
Size is Small which is quite a rarity I believe
