Been looking at the Whyte 29cs and am wondering if there is anything else on the carbon hard tail market that I should be looking at. Aiming for around £3k.

Sorry. That was a bit ungracious. I'm not a fan of Trek thanks to Lance and that gets me angry as they obviously make great bikes. Don't like the overly litigious Spesh either. My money and my loss.
