DrP, I'm not sure if you know this but it looks like it doesn't come with a warranty.

I just sold my wife's bike. A Whyte Kings Cross. It had done less than 5 miles and was MINT. Was happy to get half what she paid for it. No different (except it probably won't crack)

^^^^^^^what have I said wrong?

Titanium? Ah, I've heard titanium can be a bit fragile. What's the warranty on it?

Titanium? Frames for life they are

Well they must be else you'd see people flogging off warranty replacements all over the place

Probably

No the warranty is not decent only 5 years.Buy a Trek and you get a proper warranty.Have a 09 Hummer never realised it was only 5 years warranty when I brought it.Nearly out of warranty.Lovely bikes never worth the money these days compared with whats on the market.

Have you considered a personal leasing plan? So the buyer pays a small deposit and an even smaller monthly amount. Then if it does break you get it back.
£ 30 deposit and £10 a month any good? Paypal gift but only if you send me a picture of your photo driving licence.
Oh and I need a medium.

[quote=nick1962 ]Oh and I need a medium.

Is that so that you can find out whether it's going to break?

Doesn't e bay accurately value frames like this?

When I sold a new old stock enigma ti road frame I put it up with starting at 99p and had it sold for 80% of rrp in 3 days.

Anyone care to comment on my ASr5 in the classifieds? I've some interest but not as much as expected. Anything I'm doing wrong?

It's only been on there a day!

Nice bike. Though now niche wheel size. Price seems a little high, what with the lack of warranty, but is probably fair. Don't the swingarms crack? May not be the best time of year to be selling bikes.

You might want to see if the OP is willing to sell you his coattails. After all, they are all muddy from you riding on them.

😛
