Are these any good?

I see they have gone back to the old swingarm design.

I owned one just after they changed to the single swingarm but had to get a refund as the cranks struck the arm on the pedalstroke.

Any recent experience of these?

I guess because they are now an old design.

If I remember correctly they had good magazine reviews, but are heavy for their travel - as in you can have more travel for the same weight...

It's not the old swing arm design, looks similar but completely different
The super 4 is different to the meta platform and is still a current design (think in 2013 it's called the el camino)

cheap because they need rid of them.
They still have them because nobody bought one 🙂

11kg for a 4" bike is not brilliant.

Coming from CRC's perspective as the largest stockholder/buyer/distributer (i may be wrong) of bike's and sundries etc it's not "that" cheap at all given their massive buying power, that's not to say it ain't a good bike but i know nowt bout FS bikes so couldn't advise either way.
