So I'm in the market for a new bike and have found this at a reduced price.

Obviously there's the old rumour of snappiere and worries about ei. Should I steer clear or does anyone have positive any real world experience to share?

Thanks!

The chainstays are massively wide so be prepared to have to change your foot position. They've even helitaped them because they know you're going to rub your heels on them. Apart from that, lovely bikes.

No snapping. But the linkage isn't the hardiest. Had bolts snap twice and the rear articulation bushing wears into the frame causing side to side play. Its great to ride, but i wouldnt buy another.

You'd be right to worry about EI too, think it was 5 out of the six we sold that came back faulty, and think three ended up with standard replacements.
