when its glorious clear and sunny today at work, is tomorrow's forecast pissing rain EXACTLY when I get a pass to go out on the bike for the first time in weeks?!

If anyone else is out in the Lakes district area, i'll be there in soggy solidarity.

Sorry, couldn't resist the video, given the recent music threads!

I'm a bit pissed too, because I thought my lurgy from last week had gone. I was planning to do my first cat4 hill climb training ride for a few weeks.

Amazing mostly blue sky here in Southampton, but I've woken up feeling like how I was a week ago, all wooly and swollen neck glands, taken ibruprofen. I can't feel anything wrong below the neck, so part of my thinks go anyway, but my sensible head says either scrap the idea of riding altogether or do a very chilled local ride

I feel your pain op,
Its amazing how often 5 days of wall to wall sunshine coincides with 5 days of 12+hr shifts at work, only for the rain to start battering down on the way home and then continue for the four days im off..
But im glad you said it, because I thought i was the only one.
