Am I right to feel a bit pissed off, not really for me as theres no way I could do all of them, but...

PMBA tickets released the other day

Ard moors - 22nd

Naughty Northumberland - 28th

Boltby bash -30th

Guess there are others on sale this month as well.

Obviously it super that there's so many great events but at 60-70 quid a pop, come on guys spread it out a bit.

Also Wges and Southerns in 2 weeks time too

Seems a daft time of year, with Xmas already sucking up my cash !

But for race organisers it's a good Xmas bonus?

Well next its December and Christmas, January everyone is skint and by February everyone who's only going to do one or two £70 events in the year has already booked them and by March you're panicking that its March and you still dont know how many portaloos to book and wondering if you should call the event off due to lack of entries.

Yeah understand that, but even one or two in october would of helped.

Anyway, good luck to people who try to get places.

You don't have to enter them all in one go. Sure, the Ard events sell out in seconds but most of the rest don't. Should still be entries going in Dec, Jan and Feb for most races

None returnable deposits would help with the balance to be paid later.

Malverns tickets are out now too. I know the organisers need to know but I can’t do all the money before Christmas!

I guess it's partly because enduro race organisers have to pay the bills and need to get money in the bank ASAP, and partly a bit of competition between them.

Leave it too late to launch your event and the punters might all be booked to race elsewhere?

It'd be interesting to hear from any of the organisers who sometimes pop in here.

Yep it's going to be a tight Month, PMBA, Ard Moors and Boltby all out of one pay cheque!

Sure, the Ard events sell out in seconds but most of the rest don’t.

Some PMBA rounds sold out in 50 minutes, the boltby tickets usually go quite slowly but I bet sales are much quicker than last year.

From Southern Enduro's point of view.

The Series: on December 1st we release 100 tickets for the full series with as small discount. If riders don't have the have the cash on the 1s Dec we release 150 more tickets 2 mouths before each race.

The QECP Mash Enduro is 2 months before the race.

The QECP Day and Night Enduro is 2 mouths before the race.

So as a general rule we go for 2 mouths before race as typically that's when we have to start paying deposits and booking stuff.

The exception to that is the Southern Enduro Champs where we release the tickets 6 months before the race (on 1st Dec) This is because its a much bigger event and have to book and pay deposits much earlier.

That's not really possible, BEMBA (The enduro organisers) run a shared calendar this is added to by all the organisers to avoid clashes. One of the thing to determines this is the EWS dates and now the BENS. These dates aren't locked until the start of Oct then we all start to talk and swap dates where necessary.

That's why you will see most organisers announcing their date in Nov.

I'd say its a step up from both those, theres a few vids on youtube but they of course don't show how steep things are. This was the best stage

Stage 2 was fun too

No uplift at Golfie as far as I know, it (Adrenalineuplift) services the main Innerleithen trail centre.

Wallets a bit lighter this evening... Fancy a crack at NN but it's too close to Ard Rock for me, did it used to be later in the year or did I imagine that!!!
