Ran into these two on you tube.

Why isn't cycling normal in London?

Why drivers should want cycle lanes. I like the "cabbie talk" in this one.

Er....  It is. Have you seen a major crossroads in zone 1/2 at rush hour? Angel is particularly Bonkers.  Then you add in all the others on side streets!

I quite enjoyed that, nothing new or exiting, but sums it up nicely.

I took my OH out on her E-bike for the first time last weekend, she's one of those people who would cycle the 4.something miles to work but............................

Despite also being one of those people who complains about red light jumping, lane hogging, pedestrian killing cyclists, she took about 5 minutes to figure out why I don't go through the lights and instead cut across to the pavement at the junction at the end of the road, how bloody scary it is riding in the gutter and why I cut through the pedestrian bit in town (because TBH I don't think I could come up with a cycling legal alternative that isn't several miles and/or a dual carriageway longer).

I rather like Jay Norman when he's being informative, his 'map men' series is excellent, hope he does more at some point.
