[Closed] Why is there so much play in my rear wheel??

Obvious answer would be bearings I guess but I had these replaced a while back and I'm sure it had a bit of play still after this was done. Bikes not been ridden a great deal but if I hold the wheel and wobble it there's a fair bit of play. It's a mavic cross trail 26" from 2013.

I'm pretty good with most parts on my bike but have cuff all knowledge about wheels really. I've just been ignoring it but it's starting to bug me now as I can feel it when I'm cornering.

Normally I'd just say it needs tightening up, but according to this you can't do it!

Balls. Must stop buying stuff with inherent faults. Will strip it, clean it and do the bearings and live with the play....with one eye on the classifieds

I thought that on a ride the other day. Back end felt horrible. Turned out the mech hanger was loose.
